As preparations are on for the burial of late former chairman of Benue NUJ Comrade Terlumun Nyifan, the Jemgbagh Media Forum has eulogized the former media executive. In a condolence message to late Nyifan's family, the JMF said, "It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that the Jemgbagh Media Forum extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of Late Comrade Terlumun Nyifan, a distinguished Journalist, accomplished public servant, and former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council. "Comrade Nyifan was a consummate professional whose life was defined by dedication to journalism, public service, and community development. As a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council, he distinguished himself through exemplary leadership, courage, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of the media profession. "His career trajectory remains a shining example of diligence and excellence. From his early days at the Benue Printing and Publishing Corporation to his meritorious service at the Benue State Ministry of Information and Orientation, where he retired as a Deputy Director, Comrade Nyifan consistently demonstrated professionalism, humility, and a passion for service. "Within the Jemgbagh Media Forum, he was a respected voice, a dependable guide, and a source of inspiration to both young and experienced media practitioners. His wise counsel, wealth of experience, and commitment to the ideals of truth, fairness, and responsible journalism enriched our forum and strengthened our collective pursuit of excellence. His passing is a great loss not only to his immediate family but also to the media community, Jemgbagh land, Benue State, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. "On behalf of the leadership and entire membership of the Jemgbagh Media Forum, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Nyifan family. We pray that Almighty God grants them the strength and comfort to bear this painful loss and grants the departed eternal rest. Though he is gone, his legacy of service, professionalism, and integrity will continue to inspire generations of Journalists and media practitioners. May the soul of our brother Comrade Terlumun Nyifan rest in perfect peace." The letter was signed by Chief Samuel Adzegeh and Comrade Terhemen Ater, Chairman and Secretary of Jemgbagh Media Forum respectively.
