By Samuel Adzegeh, Editor in Chief The Central Planning Committee (CPC) of the Candidates' Unveiling Committee for the Benue State chapter of the NDC says the party is ready to shake Makurdi to its very foundations during a mega rally to unveil its candidates for all positions in next year's elections. This came to light during an emergency meeting earlier today. The committee split into eight sub-committees to finalize arrangements for the official unveiling of the candidates which has been tentatively scheduled for next month. The meeting, which was chaired by Hon. Ityoyila Victor Hembah took place at the party's state secretariat in Makurdi and had in attendance more than twenty members inspite of the short notice. The chairman announced the sub-committees to include Finance, contact and mobilization, works/venue, protocol, security, media and publicity as well as accommodation. Hembah charged members of the sub-committees to work assiduously towards ensuring a very successful unveiling, adding that other details would be announced later. He also disclosed that delelegates in hundreds of thousands would during the event storm the state capital in a display never before seen in Benue State in a bold display to ensure that the party takes over Benue State.
