Death was recently announced of Godwin Aondohemba Agan, foremost proponent of Aminu Kano's 'talakawa' movemement as well as Peoples' Redemption Party (PRP). Popularly known in Benue political and social circles as Engr. Agan, he was widely known as a very active, though oftentimes controversial elder with very high connections among first republic politicians in the ilk of Elder Isaac Shaahu, late Ugba Uye and others.
