Sebastine Hon (SAN) candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) whose name is missing from INEC's recently published list of candidates for the Benue State governorship election, has called on his supporters to remain calm, explaining that the omission must be a mistake and assuring that all steps are being taken to correct same. In a widely published statement titled, 'On the INEC published list', Hon. said, "The omission is simply an error, which shall be corrected VERY SOON". He noted that: 1. The names of the Candidates of the SDP contesting for the various State Constituencies have all been published. Over 95% of them did their primaries on the same day, at the same venue and time as I! 2. I was the sole aspirant of my Party, SDP, for the office of Governor. Consequently, I was/I am the sole candidate, unchallenged by anyone. 3. My name had been uploaded on the portal of INEC. I have evidence to that effect in my possession. 4. The National office of my party and I have already engaged INEC on this minor error and we have received assurances that it's a mistake that will be corrected ASAP. Kindly, therefore, remain calm as the Campaign Organisation has already urged you. Do not panic AT ALL!"..
